It is a waiting game. As the article said you should know by mid April what parts won't come back.

We need a few warm days to get the soil temp up so the runners will start to do their thing

Any idea how much hiring someone to re-sod would cost per pallet?

I have spoken to folks who charge any where from $125 to $200 a pallet
The price can fluctuate depending on what has to be removed

More question on the St. Augustine grass for the garden masters...
It's supposed to be the best choice for our climate and all, but can it really tolerate full sun? I can say that part of my patch is nearly all dead being in full sun all day, yet parts that are in the shade stays fairly green and healthy. Is it watering issue? Can't really say I don't water enough, followed the recommended schedule plus all the rain we got.

Hate replacing the sods just to have it die on my again after couple of summers.

there are many different varieties of St Augustine grass
