I'd probably go Jag among these three. Nothing against the other two... I would take either of them in a heartbeat too. I just like how the Jag looks a little better, and it is not going to be as common. However, thats just me, and my choice has nothing to do with ultimate performance or numbers either.

The Jag. It has style, class, sophistication, and rawness all in one package. Very sweet looking ride.

Jaguar F Type every day and twice on sundays. Ever listen to the exhaust note? Pure heaven. Stunning good looks, ethereal exhaust note, great ergonomics, excellent performance and handling. It's the whole package, especially for a weekend toy. Though a guy here at work has one he dailys.

It depends upon what kind of weekends you plan.

I have had a weekend car for many years and my use could easily be very different than yours. Over the years we have made scores of day trips sometimes cruising but often with a group than favors some pretty spirited driving. We have made dozens of relatively long distance trips (days long 2K or more miles). And for several years I tracked the car participating in at least 20 events.

The car that would work best for me is the Z06.

One thing to look at is exclusivity. That rules out the Z06 and to a lesser extent the Cayman.

With the Jag, you can step out of it in a 3-peice suite or as if you just came from the gym and still look appropriate. Cant say the same for the Vette or the Cayman. Those are more wknd toys.

Default Using the OP criteria for the definition...

To be clear, these are weekend sports cars for canyon carving, the very rare track meet, and general hell-raising.

None of them will ever see snow.
For this purpose, the Corvette is the car. As a strictly driving experience, without regard to prestige, exclusivity, or heritage, this is the accelerator I want to push - hard. If I am taking dearest to a night out, it changes the equation. If I am going upscale at all, the Jag takes the lead. As someone else said, it has the standing and exclusivity to be seen on 5th Avenue while providing a driving experience that is surreal.
