Hmmm...I think I might do that, ReturningWest. Also, I got a laugh out of the photo she posted. It's funny in a gallows humor sort of way.

I hate it when these employers just waste our time with false hopes.
seriously, shouldn't the Congress make deceptions illegal?

It would be nice, though advertisers and politicians would end up losing their jobs, LOL. Just kidding...sort of. Seriously, I doubt Congress would do it. Heck, discrimination against the unemployed is legal according to some attorneys, so I don't think they will outlaw this type of deception anytime soon.

I ran into this some years ago at a job fair. A lady was bugging me to fill out an application. So I asked her are you hiring? Then she gets a funny look on her face and says well no. Shes tells me we are just taking applications for someday when we do hire. I would bet half the jobs on the net are non jobs. Their not real jobs they put them out there to build up the applicant pool. I mean you see these jobs out there for months on end. Yet no one ever gets hired we are talking real low end type of work. There no way they can not find anybody in this day and age. It is just a non job.

I have to say this made me laugh. Made me think of every broken campaign promise.

I applied for Subway, Burger King and Dollar General recently, all who had signs up..
Was told we always accept applications but at the time we are not hiring..
Toy's R us is said to be hiring also.. I put in 3 Apps so far for just Seasonal work..nothing..
Pretty bad When Florida Restaurants arent hiring during tourist season..
I guess I could drive back and forth to Orlando everyday 4 hours.. Most likely get hired there..

That picture is sad. Maybe you should send it to your congress rep or senator.
