Loveboating got me to thinking about that " What's your weakness?" and I've always had a pat answer and now wonder if it's a mistake. I've always said, "I do talk too much, and it is critical I am aware of this weakness to insure I am not disruptive. There's a time to talk and a time to shut up."

I always thought this was best for it is very apparent I am a talker during interviews, I've always considered that answer as hope that an employer that doesn't care for talkers would know although I'm a talker I understand the importance of self control. Now I'm thinking this might be wrong. But as my posts show I am obviously a talker.

Is it better to pretend I'm not a talker at an interview? Is it super bad to admit it?

Unless you have an "in" with someone at the agency that would be difficult to even get a straight answer as to how many are interviewing or where you are in the order of the interviews.

The temp agency is not your friend. They want to fill the position as quickly as possible to get their cut from their client.
I haven't temped in awhile. I guess they are getting more secretive because when I used to ask that question, I would get an honest answer and if they had other qualified candidates to send also, they didn't mind if I chose not to be the first one interviewed.
