Can you please tell me more about LinkedIn's job search? I thought I saw something about LinkedIn providing a special paid service involving job searching. Do you use that?
Oddly enough, the last two jobs I received were from newspaper classifieds. However, I have used Craig's List for job searches. Though, I've had more success with Craig's List when I posted my resume (no personal contact information) and used the anonymous address feature. I mostly received contacts from job recruiters, but some were from direct representatives of companies. That gave me the chance to check out the company ahead of time (since many of the legitimate ones mentioned their company name) and see whether or not it was legitimate before sending them an e-mail response.

I don't really use the linkedin job search engine per se. I've been contacted by recruiters who saw my profile and I have seen jobs posted on groups related to my profession.
I use indeed to find job ads. It finds most of them that are out there including those on linkedin and even usajobs.
Too funny - never heard of it so I tried it ... I entered "analyst"
for keyword and my zip code and got **3** jobs listings.
* Careerbuilder
* Monster (not as good as CB)
* Dice
* Indeed - like this one because it aggregates all the popular
job sites *AND* combs the individual corporate/etc websites,
that a person could never think of.
