Nothing to do with my Economics degree actually (although the position requires a college degree).
I got a job working in a warehouse while attending college at night (a retail chain with a handful of stores and a website). They sold high end merchandise, a lot of which was special order. 3 man operation in the warehouse. Boss quit about 6 months after I got the job, I got promoted. Worked there for a couple of years, but was as high as I could go in that job.
So I managed to parlay that experience as well as my recently obtained college degree into this job. I am going to be a supervisor at a shipping facility/warehouse. Not what I thought I would be doing, but I definitely see it as something I would enjoy and be good at, and it seems like a career with a good future. Really happy with the money I am getting as well.
