How can you make yourself the one they choose for the job?
Candidate A interviews Monday at 9. Candidate B interviews Tuesday at 11.
The choice is between just these 2 people.
What are some things you can do (as B) to be the one they choose? Which position (if you have a choice) should you choose for the interview/first or second?
I've been first (and I think with the amount of people long forgotten) and last and gotten the job.
Last is best, especially in this scenario. Monday mornings are terrible times to interview. Everyone is in a rut on Mondays. Being last has the advantage of being the most memorable. Last is more likely to be offered a position during the interview because the other candidates had interviews after them.
There are pros and cons to both end of the interviewing schedule. I wouldn't prefer one over the other. As far as your question goes you don't really think that can be answered, do you? There is no magic answer as to what gets someone hired.

Anyone with advice to offer, please answer.
Once you get to the interviewing stage qualifications and experience go out the window and everything degenerates into a BSing contest for answering retarded interview questions and a HS popularity contest for the most liked candidate. Learn to BS well with a smile and be the most likable candidate and you will get hired over even candidates with far superior qualifications.
You really need to not worry so much about interview position and approach any interview the same way - sell yourself and make yourself stand out from any potential other candidates they may be interviewing. This is one of those things you really cannot control in the interview process, so don't sweat it and focus on those parts of the process that you can control.
I've interviewed hundreds and hundreds of people and it doesn't matter what day the interview is on or whether you are interview #1 or #6 of the day. It's about what you bring to the table and how you can contribute to the mission of the company.
I've done a lot of interviewing and the order has never mattered to me personally.
