First of all, I DO NOT want this to be a moral / immoral debate, as this isn't the purpose of this thread. I merely want to discuss how well so-called "fake job references" sites really work, and whether anyone reading these forums has any experience using them.
I have a roommate who's borderline suicidal for not being able to land a job in so long, and his gap yawns so wide that it's getting nearly impossible to paper over it. So I'd like to help him out by setting him up with a better-looking "job history" so he can land the job that he so badly needs. Again, I do not wish for this to be a moral debate, as this is literally a life-and-death issue - I'm a 100% serious when I say he's expressing suicidal thoughts.
I need to find something that has a good history of success and is "tight", so he doesn't get busted 2 or 3 months down the line.
I think I would strongly encourage him to get out of Georgia if he has any money left.
All he has is debt, and a lot of it. Where would he stay? Where would he go?
He just needs to be able to get a job at a home improvement store or whatever so he can get back on his feet again, but he keeps getting turned down time and time again.

What kind of debt does he have, and does he have any money to his name at all? He can always search for jobs out of state online. If he has the time, and perhaps some motivation can help provide some motivation.
