I've been working as a temp since May 29, 2012.

When should I add this job to my resume.

I'd like to start applying to permanent jobs this evening and don't know if I should update my resume just yet, or leave it the same.

My last assignment ended at the end if April 2012.

This is a good question. I have always been under the impression that you would put the temp/staffing agency you worked for and your dates of employment with them. I don't think you put the actual company you worked for because you are not technically employed by them. You are employed by the temp/staffing agency.

What I usually do on my resume is something like this:

ABC Company (XYZ Agency)

So I list both the company and the agency.

This position is with a different agency than the last one. So I'd still have to list them separately anways.
