After almost five and a half months of being unemployed and applying to 'tons' of companies I finally have a job interview for a part-time job tomorrow....and I'm scared to death of what will happen. I'm afraid that I will not do well on the interview .... have a 'brain' freeze (have been forgetting things lately), or not have an answer for a specific question .... I'm already looking at all the wrinkles on my hands and thinking that the hiring manager will not give me a chance because of my age. Any suggestions on how I can calm down and go in there with a positive attitude? Thank you.

Just chill, relax. Dont let it be the end of the world. Go in with the confidence that this is the prelude to the second interview. Think in your mind you already have it nailed and are only there to find out when the 2nd interview is.

Just try to develop a rapport with the interviewer by selling your personality traits that are useful for the job and you should be fine.
