I received a soft offer for a job contingent on background check and drug screen. On my resume' I listed my consulting work which applied directly to the position I was applying to. Where the issue comes in is I never made much money with the consulting and consequently never declared the income. The amount was truly negligible. The background company is asking for 1099's and such. Obviously I can not provide this info, I informed them I could provide names and contact info of clients I've worked for....I'm a bit nervous, should I be?
