just because you have the option to do something else doesn't mean you have to. do you have no self control at all?

It was far too many other things I wanted to do in a 45 min period than fill out one application. I wanted to do other things and browse not just fill out a long annoying applicatuion

right, so you have no self control. you can't stop yourself from doing what you want for 45 minutes even if it's to do something important.

most people who have these kinds of serious impulse control issues are under the age of 8.

As my father told all of us when we were young teens, "Being a grown-up sucks. It means you have to spend time doing stuff you hate, and spend money on things that aren't fun.

So you would rather watch an episode of some program like The Jeffersons you have already watched a dozen times or go to some fetish site than apply for a job?

How much time do you advise your "clients" to spend on their job search?

At our local Library branch, you could stay on the computer all day if there wasn't anyone waiting.

right, so again, you used a whopping sample size of 1 to decide what every person should do when looking for a job.

i wish your bosses could see what you post on this forum, seriously. then again they're probably incompetent and/or don't care. they did hire you, after all.
