Hi. I just went to an interview at Kohl's with 5 other people so there was 6 of us in the interview. We completed applications that were given to us before the interview. When the manager finished asking us questions, he asked for our resumes and left the room for about 10 minutes to review them. He came back in the room and told 3 of the other people to leave, so there was 2 of us left. He gave us pre employment packets to complete that included a background check, references sheet, and drug test agreement. He then asked us what hours we would be able to work and what departments and positions we want to work. I don't do drugs, and my background is clean, so if I pass those does that mean I got the job?
Thanks guys. I'm a little nervous because this is the first job that I've had to go to an interview for and I really REALLY need it. lol so I just want to be sure.
I like that interview process. Straight, efficient, and to the point. Everyone benefits. I wish all employers were like that.
