Hi Guys

Last job I had all was well & dainty then I got too comfortable & cut my hair into a Miley Cirus aka boyish cut. Last interview I had I believe I was not taken seriously due to the hair. In the meantime I have tried to rectify the situation by setting up a hair appointment but my stupid a** hairdresser called me to reschedule. Now my que is how do I reschedule interviews without looking like a fool. I have an interview on Tue so tomorrow I have to call to reschedule yet I do not have an excuse especially considering my hairdresser had me wait already/

Last interview I had with the Miley Cirus I felt like a fool & obviously I did not get the job.

Bottom line how can you postpone a job interview TWICE without looking like a fraud?

What makes you so sure that your hair is the reason you didn't get the job? You can't improve at all in other areas and it is your only weak spot?

Don't reschedule. Either find a new hairdresser who can get you in or do some research on how to style it. Even Miley can get it to look semi classy. Make sure you dress appropriately as well. I assume you have the outgoing personality to accompany the style, just work it.

Sure, it's unique. But it's not worth looking flaky by rescheduling an interview.

I did NOT feel comfortable walking in I felt like a boy then when I went to their company website, everybody's hair was ""laid"" like say Kim K

Even during the interview everyone looked like Kim K I ONLY looked liked Miley

I think this is all in your head. That cut is not too offensive for a job interview. Are you wearing proper business attire and conservative make up & jewelry? Stop worrying. You'll be okay.

You interviewed at a place where EVERYONE looked like Kim Kardashian? Dear lord, please share the name of the company; because every man will want to work there, and every woman will surely want to stay away.

I spent my entire 20s and 30s with my hair cut that short, but it was all red. Worked for me.

There is nothing wrong with that hair style, just keep your tongue in your mouth.

I have hair almost to my hipbones and several people have told me I should cut it shorter or wear it back in an updo for interviews.

So I guess it can go either way, I'm sure some people think long hair looks unprofessional/sloppy and others think short hair may look too trendy.

I hate boy cut hair or short hair in women; it makes them look like butch dykes... Just wear a wig temporarily while your hair grows back.
