I wouldn't be quitting. My position is ending in January. Maybe I didn't explain that well enough, but I feel like I spend half of my threads on re explaining what I already explained.
You didn't state that on your 1st thread. If i was in your position, i would have been interviewing in November. You are a TEMP nothing else or more. They don't have to hire you after the temp period. Also, what kind of job is this? Is it one where the work is slow in the beginning of the year? Use this job as a stepping stone to something greater.

It used to be the case that most internships were unpaid (some industries were exceptions). That is the way it was in my day. Now they're mostly paid due to rulings by the courts.
Its not "they". Its my site director who is unsure. Everyone else is pressuring him to hire me. Everyone else that has worked with me and knows me better. I think its personal with him. We haven't really connected and I would be reporting to him.
So by lying and claiming you're looking elsewhere he's going to want to hire you MORE?
