Eric, you don't need a resume. In your field you will do far, far better to walk in and talk to the person in charge. They are going to want to see you.
Go talk to the people, and show up first thing in the morning. Have the sheet ready with references and the like, but don't let them have it until they talk to you, and then only give it to them if they don't hire you on the spot.
If I were applying for a position as Service Manager, Service Writer, or something like that it would be different. But the jobs I got as a mechanic and even as a truck driver, I just went in and GOT!
Too funny!! Not all are spelling bee-ers, but spelling does help in resumes and the like.
I work in admin at a university - and I'll get an email back (from 'analysts' above me) saying, "Your welcome". Drives me a little batty - but how do I tell them? How do you correct someone above you - for a kind of small thing? Especially when they are saying, 'You're welcome'?!! But then, I imagine them emailing those ABOVE THEM too!! (professors and deans!) And I shutter, or shudder (sp?)
How/where did you obtain your skills in auto collision repair? You don't have anything related to those skills under the helping a friend's dad in his shop section, so it looks like they were obtained somewhere else.
If it was through school, you need to list the specific degree you are/were studying for relevency.
