I graduated in 2012 with a BBA in Finance with low GPA. I am currently working in the retail industry (Food and Beverage) as assistant manager, I have 5+ years managerial experience. I have done several interviews in banking without success. It seems like accounting positions strongly require a degree in accounting even though they say accounting or related field. I am struggling to find a job in accounting/finance field. Is there anyone in the same situation? Any suggestions of what I can do to find a job in accounting/finance field?
Looks like you missed the boat, you graduated to long ago without getting a job in finance. Your going to have to go for customer service/ sales in a finance related company.
Maybe to for loan officer with quicken loans, I think they pay minimum + commission.
thank you boredrestless, I was thinking to maybe go back to school and get a degree in supply chain management since there is a huge demand in supply chain management in MI
