Let's talk about the job offer:
After onsite interview, how long it took for you to get a phone call from the company at least verbal job offer?
1) While driving from company to home
2) Same day, maybe a couple of hours later
3) The following day
4) 2~4 days
5) One week later
6) two weeks later
7) Three weeks later
8) One month later
9) Over two months later

2.

Same day, after a same day interview.

I emailed my resume in mid-Feb and got a call at 3:30pm on 2/24 asking if I could interview the same day at 4:15.

"Wow... if they want to interview this fast I bet I have a good chance at the job." I was right... after the discussion and walkthrough he says "When can you start?"...

Great pay with plenty of overtime (20 to 30 hours a week) and benefits are solid. The job is 10 miles from home and avoids Seattle traffic.

With the ease of the commute and the massive moneymaking potential with this job (I'm single and don't mind working OT) I feel like I hit the jackpot...

for me its always been very quick. In cases where they dragged their feet, I called it off myself or didn't get the job.

The sooner, the more desperate company?

Or a company with a lot of work.

I specifically asked about the previous person in my position and was told he was promoted which opened the door for me...

As said there is a huge amount of overtime available and I was told the work schedule is booked full for the entire year.

Call it what you want... I call it a ton of money in my pocket with the overtime money icing the cake.

For my current job, I got the verbal offer at the end of the interview. Got my offer letter a few days later.

The longest I've waited for a job offer after the interview was 8 months. For that particular one, of course I had moved on with my life. The shortest time I've waited was of course my current job where I got the offer at the end of the interview.

the one interview I had that was dragging flew me out for intensive interviews, followed up and dragged their feet for a few weeks, maybe even a month I can't remember. I emailed and told them I couldn't wait any longer and pulled myself out of the running that even though I Was staying with my current job I needed to focus on it and not be in limbo.

After an in-person interview and a few previous phone interviews, I was offered a job about 1 or 2 days later after they completed the background check. I work in IT and this was just about 2 years ago and this was from a smaller-sized firm.
