I applied job Jan/2014, and did phone interview middle of Feb, onsite interview on 3/3/2014, 3/7 additional phone interview...
So far, No news/feedback yet...
How many more days do I need to wait?
I expected they would call me today...but No Call!!
I really want to join this company....
No call today means they decided not to hire me??
The rule is 60 days. I had an interview in January as well. The 60 day mark for me was the first week of March. Now I'm not holding my breath anymore. You can still be in their file. I had a job in the past call me a yr later. At the time I had a job.
Keep looking.

Always give it a week since your last contact. Follow up on the 14th or the 17th.
Don't forget that your not the only person they are interviewing so it takes time to go through all the candidates.

At the end of interviews, ask on what the next steps are and timelines for decisions.
That way, you won't be on pins and needles.
In fact, move on with your job search now since it is no longer in your control.

I knew that I could ask the next steps and decision timelines at the interview, but I didn't intentionally, since I didn't want for me to viewed as desperate.
But now I am anxious to know the result.
Ironically situation.

There can be many other things that reek of desperation in a job seeker too.
However, the wisdom to asking about a timeline is to appear procedural, show that you can sort of follow directions, and to know what to expect. If they say 2 weeks and they haven't gotten back to you by then, you can follow up with more gusto.

I see your point!!
Past is past...
I will do that next time...
But right now, what should I do? just wait until end of this week?
or email to HR to find out what's going on and what is the timelines?
