Would you like to work for the same salary as someone in, for example, India, is making doing your exact same job? After all, since you are a cheerleader for "globalism", that may well happen to you. Yet I bet you are feeling smug that this won't happen to you. Am I correct?

As for post #49---It's total nonsense. Once again, Americans do have those skills but are being passed over in favor of H1-Bs. Either that, or they get discriminated against because the ones doing the hiring are Indians.
No. But I'm realistic. You don't like the truth. You want somebody to save you. Maybe the Government. Maybe Corporate America. Maybe your fellow Americans. Forget it.

With that said, I hope every piece of the electronic device with which you posted this, and your other posts, were made in the United States because otherwise you've already embraced globalism.

[how long were you planning on lying to yourself?]

The H-1B Visas are also providing healthcare with a number of employees.

I just find it interesting that people that have never paid into the Medicare system are now beneficiaries of extracting from it.

Why not fill the demand with American workers? Sounds pretty logical.

The good quality American workers in the Tech field are already employed and have no trouble finding work.

The largest growth of minorities came from the Mexicans, not Indians, or Chinese. The employed illegals far outnumber the Indians, Chinese, or Euros on H1-Bs.

While a company might get a H1-B visa to hire an immigrant this year. The illegals could have been working in the USA for decades. I have met people born in Mexico, that have been living here for 30+ years including graduating college. They are not native born.

There are something like 55 million hispanics in the USA. Half are not even able to vote, because they are not citizens.

Agreed.

Um....what?

Given that 2/3rds of Mexico was lost to the USA during the Mexican war frankly that could be a bit understandable. But you do understand that Hispanic does not automatically mean Mexican...right? But having said that I would say your numbers are quite high. 25 million illegals? I doubt it.

Ironically wouldn't illegal aliens ultimately become their own worst enemy? You figure if labor prices keep dropping becomes they keep coming in wouldn't this just be a race to the bottom?
That is like someone stealing a product that goes down in value, makes little sense.

I have gone on interviews where the person interviewing me was Indian. I knew they would never hire me or hire me for a ridiculous salary way below what my experience should pay. I mentioned in the other thread about the Indian who only hired thin, non mothers or nonsmokers for entry level jobs while only hiring Indian men for the management positions.
