Interviewer told me I looked really nervous and needed to smile

They sound exactly like the type that won’t hire long term unemployed, people eager to rejoin the workforce. Hopefully your career won’t hinge on your smile ability, god forbid you have a down day and it’s out the door.

What a ridiculous thing to say. NOT smiling, which is what Boosane said he was doing, meant he wasn't landing a job because he wasn't coming across well. People who don't smile seem off. It signals a problem. That doesn't at all translate to being shown the door if you have a down day.

If he listened to posts like this he'd still be looking for work.
