I just started a new career, and it didn't work out so I left after 4 months. Should I just put it down as an internship? I need the experience on my resume since I'm new to the field so I don't want to leave it off. It was also over the summer so it makes sense.

If it was an internship then put that on the resume, if it wasn't an internship then don't lie about it because it will come out as full-time employment that didn't work out. At least you may get a chance to explain why it didn't work out. You will definitely not get a chance to explain why you lied about it.

Putting it on my resume as FT employment that didn't work out was not an option.
