The last time I went to a temporary staffing agency I had a bad time, but I might give it a second chance. Anyone know if they fulfill for part time weekend/early evening weekday jobs?

I already work full time Mon-Friday

Honestly, most of their jobs are full or near full time for companies that need to hire someone but either can't get it approved or would rather not pay benefits and be able to fire someone with one phone call. You can try them but it is a real long shot that they have such an opportunity available if you aren't someone they feel they can place quickly you will likely just get entered into their database somewhere and forgotten about.

I think your only options maybe something like retail, fast food, or security since they are the type of places that offer weekend hours. Temp agencies will only offer assignments that are during the week and Monday to Friday so your best bet is to go to directly to those type of stores to apply for open positions.

Security will hire you part-time. Event security would be even better, because you set your own schedule.

I have four part-time jobs, all event security. I don't know what state you live in, but one of the companies that I work for is nationwide. Whatever state you live in, you'll have to obtain a guard card, but any company that hires you will help you get it.

As soon as you get it you can work as much as you want, or as little as you want.

A security friend recommended considering this line of work but people don't respect me.

I don't have any problems getting people to respect me. It all depends on how you present yourself, and how you look.

I'm too nice and ppl mistake my kindness for weakness. I don't look like anyone famous but I do look like you could rip anything out of my hands.

I have been sick for three weeks . Well, maybe its a good thing I didn't get a part-time job.

I'm not sure if security will hire me, I'm 145 lbs. I do have an interview this Wednesday for office cleaning, weekdays only.

Retail is a last resort, but at this point I'm considering it.

For weekend jobs you have to get those on your own by going to retail or fast food places because temp agencies usually focus on assignments during the week.

Ask. Many businesses and institutions (hospitals particularly) employ part time data entry clerks for evening/weekend shifts. Not the most exciting work but would fit your schedule. Good luck.
