If you are even remotely considering taking any legal action against this company, you definitely want to consult a lawyer before contacting them any further. Otherwise you might risk nullifying your case somehow. Better safe than sorry.
I don't think Ill be taking any type of legal action. I'll just let it go and move on.

And next job, don't say much small talk for the first several weeks other than very very basic things that cannot be turned around. Not that anything you said here made a difference. But you need to get the feel for the political pecking order before you say much these days.
You're right. If the President gave a damn, things would have been different and there would not be such a high turnover rate. Lesson learned- dont even make small talk with people and be very weary of surroundings.

I found my computer on (when I logged off the previous day), and facebook, Nordstrom and Pinterest web pages was open. That's when you messed up. If you knew there was a company policy against using company computers for personal reasons, and you knew you did not use the computer, and you knew you logged off when you left and you SAW YOU NAME on the screen; did not the hairs on the back of you neck stand up? All the signs were wrong and yet to decided to PRETEND nothing happened?
They may have been framed but you got yourself fired.

The tipping point was them using your computer and cell phone usage, yet because you decided on your own to pretend nothing happened, you had nothing to counter their position against you. Sure you may still have been dumped but you didn't have to let it be so easy. Can you just "pretend" the termination didn't happen?
