I'm not getting leads from it. For 3 different positions I've sent a resume to the email address. Since this was the one way to apply I did it. Each time I got a response that the person was out of state 2 were in Canada no less. They were sorry they hired someone the day they posted but have an alternate position. All of them did this like a bait and switch only in my case broke and desperate. 2nd most worthless any fast food places advertising for help and of course wal mart.

Craigslist is a cesspool. Most of the jobs are fake. It used to be halfway useful, but there's too many scammers now.

Okay, so you are broke and desperate and applying to jobs on Craigslist which is "worthless" but fast food and wal-mart (actual paying jobs) are not good enough?

Well, maybe because nobody hands anyone an application anymore. You apply online. Funny, me and all my fellow employees at Walmart also have belts and all our teeth. Amazing! lol

I got a job as a college instructor off of Craigslist. I've also gotten several interviews for real jobs advertised on Craigslist. I'm pretty good at weeding out the fake postings, but they are in the minority in the categories I usually view.

Craigslist doesn't charge for the service they provide. You can't beat free.
