In my 13 years experience, I worked as a technician (1 year), Software Developer (3), Project manager and department head (6 years). Academically, I graduated in Electrical Engineering (2002) and I have also an MBA (2015). I certified in alot of programming languages.
Now I have a work permit in USA, and I posted my resume in Monster.com, hired and indeed. Still I didn't get any response from real companies. How many months should I wait before I started non-professional tasks.

All you did was post your resume and wait for employers to come to you?
You have the approach backwards.

Posting your resume only gets you spam emails. If you want a job, send your resume.
