I haven't been on here in a while, but I wanted to share several interesting interview questions as I've had several interviews in the past two weeks. I included what my answer was, but I am not suggesting that my answer is the best. It's just what I said at the moment.
1. What do you think of the following quote:
"Organizational culture always eats organizational policy for lunch."
I answered by saying that culture is fine but not at the expense of policy and that policy must prevail. I added that strong leadership is what is needed to strike the right balance.
2. What is the most important skill of a manager?
I answered communication and explained why good communication is vital to achieve organizational goals.
3. What is the least important skill of a manger?
I answered trying to be everyone's friend and elaborated by saying it is important to create a great working atmosphere but being one of the group cannot supersede accomplishing goals.
Just some questions to think about for those with upcoming interviews.
