There is a company I applied to several years ago, had an interview, and didn't get hired (I assume for lack of experience at the time- I hadn't even graduated college yet). Now that several years have passed and I have much more experience and education that I feel would make me a more enticing candidate at the company, I want to apply again. The problem is, their applications get submitted online, and I keep having technical difficulties that prevent me from submitting an application on the website. I think the problem is that I had applied for 2 positions at the time, and when I found out through word of mouth that I didn't have a certification needed for one position, I withdrew my application for it. Now that I have the certification and want to apply again, it is just greyed out and won't let me click on it.

How do I proceed? I tried to find a technical support link on the website to ask for help with this, but there is none. Would it be a good idea for me to call the HR dept there and tell them that I am interested in applying but am having problems doing so, or is that not their area and they're just going to be irritated for me asking? I know HR people seem to hate when applicants call with questions, so I didn't want to be that person. Any ideas?

If you are having problems, call. There may be a problem on their end that they are not aware of.

"That" person is the one calling about salary, benefits, is it o.k. id I only have this or that,... Asking about a technical issue on their website application is generally o.k.
