Such as retail; grocery stores, movie theaters, fast food joints etc. Interviewers are inhuman and act like you are running for a space shuttle technician / president of the known universe position.

It's insane. i'm going to become homeless soon!

Some jobs are really easy to get. Try getting a job as a pizza delivery driver. All they want to see is that you have insurance and a good driving record. They don't care what your work skills are.

Maybe its how you interview.. are you serious in it and come professionally dressed? Even for entry level you need to make a good effort as you have competition. How many interviews have you been on?

Im guessing this is your first job or you do not have a lot of experience? I know, even for these jobs interiewers will really ask every possible question and make it seem excessive. Hang in there. Fast food should be the easier route to get into and have a higher turnover rate. Just keep applying to everything out there, sometimes it can just take longer.

I had two interviews for Best Buy. Its a temporary position until i get back on my feet with more permanent work.

Yeah, two.

You'd think I was running for president or something.

Just keep applying and plugging away. Something is bound to come your way.

I had a good interview with Pavilions/Vons today. Unfortunately I won't be able to pay the rent for February on time so i guess it really is over for me. This is becoming a big mess.
