Hi All,
I recently posted that I landed a job at a start up real estate company. They build affordable housing in the islands. Well I have been there over 8 weeks and was told to start sending out my resume as it looks like they are going to fold in one month! I know - can you believe this S**t!! Anyway, I am 54 and I had a phone interview with yet another startup. This company has 35 ppl vs. 4 and they are doing very well and have a great FDA approved product. I had my phone interview on Friday. He said he was looking for a "Seasoned" professional - which I guess meant, he will take a chance on hiring an Old Head! LOL! I never thought of myself as being seasoned, as I still feel 31!
He is bringing me in on Tuesday for an interview with the CEO, Head of Engineering and 2 other people. I hope it's not a panel interview!!! Its from 10 am - 1 pm. How do I get everyone's approval. I know that it only takes one person to disapprove and I may lose the opportunity. Maybe I will remind one guy of his Aunt Bessie (who he hates) or something and down the sliding board I go. Any advice on interviewing with multiple people on the same day? I NEED this job. I cannot bear the thought of going another 18 months without work again. It took me that long to land this job and now it's shutting down.
Thanks for listening......
