Bob's question didn't seem sarcastic to me. You stated in the OP that your vision problem currently prohibits you from driving and you even followed up in the above quote stating you don't drive at the moment. This seemed to imply that this is a temporary condition, so asking if you have been given a date on which you can resume driving seems like a relevant question. Good luck in your interviews.
That. ^^^ If you do have hope of this situation improving, good luck. But if you don't, why are you interviewing for jobs that are not on a public transit route? Are you interviewing for jobs that would pay enough for you to afford to hire a daily driver?

So it sounds like the father just followed him in. Not sure why the OP didn't notice the father behind him. I mean there must be some distance from the parking lot into the building. Than from the building lobby into the conference room. I understand the OP has vision issues, but they had to have known the father got out of the car and was behind them.
Seems like a lack of communication to me between the OP and his father. After the first incident the father should have been told not to come into the building, he could go get something to eat, a cup of coffee, etc. Than come back and pick up the OP.

I'm a little confused also. It looks like the OP is just shown to a conference room before the interviewer gets there. Here, you wait in the lobby until we come get you.
The father followed him in the conference room and then the interviewer showed up. That understandably created an awkward moment. I would wonder, "Who is this guy? "
But here, you wouldn't get past the lobby without an escort.
If someone walks in during your interview or with the person that you are interviewing uninvited, you would not notice?
I would definitely ask them to wait outside at least.
If it was in the lobby I would care less. But in the actual interview room? No.
I read the past posts and I think I see now. Looks like the father walked into the interview room behind the OP, as the OP was walking in so the father followed him. Probably thinking it was just another waiting area or something. And then, upon noticing, the OP turned around and began to address is – so I assume they didn’t get deep into the room. It’s not like the father took the second chair next to the OP in teh interview room.
I wouldn’t hold that against the OP. Big deal, he got a ride and his goofball father made a mistake. At the very worst, I would think it was slightly amusing. I definitely wouldn’t let that color my assessment of the OP.
I hired many hundreds of people back in my corporate days. If your father was waiting for you in the waiting room or lobby, I would not even have paid any attention to him. It would not have effected the interview in any way. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill, that does not even exist. Having someone give one a ride to an interview, is not unusual or note worthy to the interviewer.

Did you not read the comments by the OP? The first time the father was just in the waiting room, the second time he followed the OP right into the conference room where the interviewer was.
You can't not pay attention to someone who is in the same room as you are. That's where the issue occurred, the OP had to now introduce their father who was in the conference room.
Although why the OP didn't nip this in the bud after the first time is beyond me. A simple "dad you need to go get something to eat in the area, and I will call/text you when I am done to come get me", would have prevented the 2nd incident.
As I mentioned in my original post, I have a visual disability and don't drive at the moment. No need for the sarcasm.

What sarcasm? I had a detached retina, corrected via surgery, so I dealt with recovery from eye issues. You made it sound like you knew when you could drive, so I asked for a specific time frame.
You have a good attitude chalking it up to experience.
Talk to your dad, take public transportation or an Uber if you can.
If you need a ride again, talk to the person who takes you first before arriving.
