I have from 1998 to present. I only had 2 jobs including my present one of 10 + years. First job had several promotions up to regional management. Present job one promotion. I am not sure if this is good or not in today's world though I have no gaps at all.
How would you list the last three years if you are not working? I am semi retired and haven't worked since moving from Virginia to South Carolina. I just don't know how to list this since this would be current.
Thanks.

You may have been an independent contractor working for various companies. I see that often and it seems better than writing self employed.

When I applied here in 2009, I went back to 1975, 34 years. That's because I had that employer for 17 years, and was self employed for the next 16, and both were very much related to the job I was applying for (and got). Now a hiring manager, we like to see people go back 10 years, with most jobs requiring 3-15 years experience.
I recently removed a job from my resume that I worked at from 2001 to 2005. It was no longer relevant to my career goals and aspirations. I go back to 2006, which is a solid 10 years of work.
