I interviewed for a great job. They wanted to know if it was okay to use my current employer. I said yes. She will give me a good review and she knows I am looking passively. The committee was supposed to meet this week to give their recommendation. However, my current employer has not been contacted, according her secretary. Is this a bad sign I won't get the job? My other references gave me glowing reports and I work with those folks here at my current job. My boss has only been here less than a year so she does not know me that well. The search committee knew that so maybe they did not contact her.
