OP, are your parents going to drive you to work since you don't drive and live in a rural area?

Likely. (Until I can get a car, if I'm ready to. The insurance thing, etc, is kinda hard with no job, hence why I didn't do it earlier.)

Anyway, this place is about a 10 minute drive from me. Practically all of the other IT jobs I've applied for would require a move to a more expensive area.

Also, my area does have some kind of public transit for those that have some form of disability. Thus, I could use that too.

I am not sure what kind of job you're aiming for, but I would strongly advise you to not lowball yourself because: 1) you will come across as desperate for a job, and/or 2) you demonstrate low confidence in your skills; if someone offered to sell you a late-model BMW for $200, would you be suspicious?

If you want to get hired, show up wearing knee pads and lipstick.
