i once did a phone interview that was completely SAR.

The HR lady asked the question and as I was answering it she was like, "hold on, I need to write this all down."

over and over..........

After the 4th question I had already made up my mind that I wasn't going to work for this company, so I started to make up all the answers. As the questions kept coming, the stories just got bigger and bigger. Towards the end they where getting so outlandish I thought for certain she was going to say something.

They asked me 20 questions!!!!! I couldn't believe it.

A few days later they called me to offer an in-house interview and I declined. The HR lady says, "That is really too bad, you where one of the best candidates."

I had the interview yesterday. It was quite easy to get them off their interview script so they only had an opportunity to ask me a few SARS questions. I've had others where it wasn't so easy to do that.

It's just a behavioral interview. Most are done this way nowadays, at least in my experiences lately.
