Does anyone have experience with a career adviser in the NYC or Philly areas, or even a highly recommended "career skills test" online? Preferably in the business realm, but general help could work as well.
I ended up in the wrong career. Apparently, the skills that helped me ace every class in college are totally irrelevant to the actual day job. I've bounced around in multiple types of related jobs trying to make it work, but the same problems creep up.
I would be open to try almost any office career (physical labor is not happening.) I need some direction though. I'm basically at the point where I wish someone would analyze me and just tell me what to do. Obviously a business career would require the least retraining, but I'd consider just about anything that works at this point.
