Been traveling on the road for ten years...hotels..packing...driving....burning out! I will be 60 this year and, frankly, I want to be home every night. Still love the job but perhaps it is time to move on. What to do ..what to do...where to look for a job and what type should I explore? Am I employable? I realize the income I have enjoyed will no longer be.

If you can sell, you will always have a job. The problem is, if you don't want to do that anymore...at your age, it's going to be tough to transition to other fields.

One of my current managers transferred directly from sales. If you know the industry a little, and have a few good names to rely on, you may be able to break into small-time management.

Of course the pay wouldn't be as good but you would be able to go home at night.
