This year ranks 3 of 7, barely ahead of the #4 spot, and a full 300,000 jobs behind 2014. These numbers are typical of recent years, not somewhat better.
f we can't even solve the healthcare situation how are we to solve the employment situation?
You are somewhat correct. Obamacare has put alot of people and companies out of business. I've seen it happen to good people. Get rid of Obamacare and this would help the job market.

Negative. I don't believe getting rid of Obamacare will help the job market nor will it have an effect on lowering premiums. It might make a very small difference in the jobs market but it will occur very gradually over time so nothing you will be able to visually see or feel. At this point, they might as well just keep it in place it really makes no difference except for republicans making a political stance. Premiums will continue to rise. It's to the point of no return. Doctors and healthcare providers can charge whatever amount they want and no one's going to stop them.
Companies complain they can't find the right candidates but yet their pay scale hasn't budged in over a decade. On the other extreme end you have positions paying 200k and up but they want masters degree in rocket science and 15 years experience.
What's even more sinister is that a lot of these low paying level jobs are full time. Employers are sneaky. A job paying less than 15/hr should be part time if you want it to be. But, employers aren't giving you flexibility and want you to work 40 hours. Why? Because they don't want to give you the chance to look for another job or time even in between to attend an interview.

Because Obamacare made companies hire people for less than 35 hours per week.
Companies that didn't cut back hours went out of business and many are still going bankrupt.
The number of total jobs were also reduced, Thanks to Obamacare, due to the 49 employees or less rule. This is the correct answer as macroeconomic theory is widely accepted.

What types of companies went out of business? If it was fast food places then we don't care we don't need em anyway lol all they do is create crap jobs. Some may have but most didn't. Whatever the case may be the damage has been done. So repealing Obamacare itself as of 2017 moving forward you won't see many new jobs being created. We will see the same growth. Plenty of restaurants jobs and BS full time office jobs that pay 13/hour and nothing more than that. Welcome to America. Work full time and sleep in your car.
I know personally of healthcare companies that were paying addiction counselors, metal health
people good salaries that are now going out of business. They had warned a few years ago Obamacare was the reason and many people were let go after Obamacare was implemented. Now one company is going under as they thought Trump would get rid of Obamacare, but it hasn't happened soon enough. Very sad, over 1000 good jobs in one company are disappearing!

Nonsense. You are talking as if you have a comprehensive knowledge of all the factors influencing our economy, and have been able to compare our economy to a control group. You don't, and professional economist disagree on many things, such as the relative influence of any given factor.
The fact that health coverage is mandated for employers with 50+ employees isn't that much of a big deal. Most employers of that size ready provided health coverage. The only employers effected were those with 45-49 employees and growing who did not ready provide coverage. That is a pretty small proportion of the total number of employers in the country. Those companies had the choice to grow, OT stay under 50. Either way, the national economy grows. If the 48 employee company decides to stay stagnant, they have to turn away business. That business with them flow to a company with 250 employees, and the will grow to 251. Alternate, the business flies to a company of 18 employees, and they grow to 19.
No matter what, if the business is there, the economy grows.
I can come up with dozens of other arguments as to why the ACA/Obamacare didn't hurt as you say it did, or actually grew the economy.
The reality is I know of many people that have complained to me because they lost hours and had to look for a second job due to Obamacare. The plus side is that Trump will get reelected easily as long as Obamacare is still hanging around as the majority of Americans dislike it and Millions are uninsured because it makes no economic sense. Eventually Obamacare will die one way or the other and jobs will come back to some degree.
