So how does one obtain a job for the postal service but as a contracted employee to deliver mail? Do you go thru the US Postal Service or do you have to find out the company that is contracted and go thru them? I’m in NE Florida and have no idea how to go about the process . TIA

Whats your goal with the USPS? Are you trying to make career mailperson oneday? I think that route goes to CCA or rural carrier 1st. Its a hard job, I enjoyed some of it when I did it but not 5-6 days per week. Too much outdoors LOL

I’m just looking for something part time since I retired last year. Nothing crazy

It sounds like you would have to find a contractor willing to take on part time help to lower his working hour commitment.
