I need to move out but I can't because the only jobs I know are minimum wage jobs. I'm 18 yrs.old, and I have no skills in anything. I need to make enough money to pay for my car not and the debt in a lot of things, and move out and get an apartment. I need a job that makes at least $18-20/hr. I would desire to work for a company and in a office environment.
Sales and Mcjobs are the only ones where you can get a job without experience. There are people with college degrees who can't find jobs making $18-20 an hour, because they get rejected for not having experience.
Do you know what you want to do so you can learn something to earn a living?
If you don't know what you want to do for a living, take a Myers-Briggs test. Many of them are free online. This test is not infallible, but it gives some idea what things can ignite your passion, then you an find schooling for such jobs and maybe get a job later.
Tell a marketing if you are good at talking to people and can take a lot of rejection. In general people will not like you calling them.
You might try the construction industry and maybe a union for an entry level trainee position.
I do not think you are going to find a job that pays what you want so your first goal should be to figure out what you want to do and then get trained in that area.
With no skills, the only way to make more money is to take more risk... As in more dangerous jobs. What is the modern equivalent of a nitroglycerin jockey?
You could go to job corps. Do training with them in a career that makes a higher wage. I don't know if they would help you get into a union apprenticeship. But most unions will pay more than $30/hr after 5 years. And you are paid while you train.
