Currently I live alone in a 1 bedroom apartment in northgate seattle. My parents live in encino,California.

Currently im unemployed.

My rent in seattle is $1375 per month.

I have aspergers and struggle getting and keeping jobs.

One option is to move back to LA to be closer to my parents.

Unfortunately I couldn't afford an apartment in the LA area.

The only jobs I have had are bagging groceries and retail.

My educational background is a BA degree from California state university northridge.

Unfortunately in seattle and when I lived in LA I faced employment descrimination due to my aspergers.

If you're looking for Mcjobs, the answer is neither. Both of those places have expensive cost of living.

Move to a low cost of living area in the boonies.

You have an undergraduate degree and can't find any work better than that? And that's a disability and you shouldn't be discriminated against either. I don't get it. How are you paying your rent now? Parents helping? I think you should move closer to your parents until you get better employment and can afford a decent place to live. Do they have an extra room you could use, just temporarily? Obviously you need to make some changes. Look for better jobs. Forget about Aspergers. You can do better than you are doing now.

You need to look into programs that help those with Aspergers.

OK so start looking for jobs that require a degree that you might be interested in. Then see if the place appeals to you and you might like to move there. I assume your parents will keep paying your rent even if you move. Stop taking menial jobs; you are better than that. You just need to get some confidence and go out and grab a life.

The catch-22 is immoral and irrational.
