for tomorrow? This is my first time job seeking while employed and I thought employers would work with you if they know you are employed. So since I am off Monday, Dec 5th I told them that is the day I can be interviewed. They are supposed to call back with a time for that day but if they don't then I can just move on to something else. Only 24 hours notice???
that makes no sense, what if you woke up with a fever? Puking? You would call in sick. You dont want this new job if you arent really trying.
Since I am close to having a day off, I wanted to hold off on sick days for now just in case its a 2nd and 3rd interview. It looks corny to be sick 3 times in one month

I do a lot of hiring, and we will try to make some accommodations for people's schedules, but we won't do interviews after regular business hours, and they all have to be within a few days. Most of the time we set them all up for one or two days, and you either accept that or will be left out. I suppose there could be an exception if a person was very well qualified and there were no other applicants, but I have never seen that happen.

Money, any updates to share? Were they able to work with you on coming in on Dec 5?
If I'm contacted for interivews when I already have a job, I try my best to schedule it around my current job's hrs & I'm pretty much always able to do it. If the new job can't do it, I'll really see if I want to tk a day off or some time off from current job. It depends on how badly I want this new job, if I plan on this one replacing the job I have, etc.
