Hi forks,

I recently receive a job-hunting feedback from ebay Corp... just confirm if I am interested in this job.

But it's just a "1 year contractor" work, even if the job contend is pretty attractive to me. My current stage is that I am searching a new job opportunity and have no offer yet, I still contact some other companys like oracle for other job offers.

Well, my point is "don't refuse the work opportinuty immediately", just keep it there for further contact, and decide what next to do when I receive an official offer.

How can I reply?

Thanks
-- Jerry

The way you have written your question is not very clear. If the "offer" is a question confirming that you are interested in the job, then reply "yes". Then see if they make an offer. If it's for a 1 year contract and that is not what your after, you can make the decision on accepting or not when the offer is formally presented. That way you leave the doors open and have options.

6-month and 1-year contracts are pretty normal in IT. Many of them can even lead to full-time permanent positions.

You won't get an "official offer" until you go for an interview, and you can still turn down such an offer. From what you're describing, you have just been contacted and they've expressed interest. If that's the case, you have nothing but an offer to interview.
