Based upon my recent experience - if the email was received a day later - it is unlikely you will hear from them and I would consider it 80% rejection. My experience was that with form emails it was usually immediately after submitting my resume online - or first thing the next morning - if any additional time passed - it was a rejection and no, I never received anything further.

Seems like I struggle to get a interview from a job in my neigborhood. All my interviews were from parts of the city I don't want to work in. I spend every weekend tweaking my resume to achieve a interview from a job close to home. That's what I'm doing now-lol

Despite your strongly worded posts, it seems as if you are getting more narrow in your choices, instead of wider, which is weird when you are still out of work, despite your intentions.
