I respectfully nominate that this thread be closed. It has no value whatsoever.
I agree! Since as long as 2 or 3 people react to T.V. guys posts or assumptions, negatively and call him stupid, etc..he will reply with sexual riposts.
thank you letter? I've never sent those. Doubt I ever will. Maybe a good idea, but never occurs to me. I just say thank you after the interview is over and thats it.
Only asking because I was interviewed by two people but forgot the name of the 2nd lady who interviewed me. So I was wondering do I send another thank you note to the Director like I did after the first Interview? Of course it wouldn't be the same letter but I was only going to since I can't remember the name of the 2nd lady. Or just don't send anything?
You may need to know how to write a thank you letter. It's very important.
This website may help you Thank You Letter after Interview
Ouch! Please don't tell me you use the adjective "retarded" in casual conversation. I better give you a brief lecture before you call one of your buddies at the bar "retarded" right in front of a father of a child with Down's Syndrome and get told off about this in a less cordial fashion.
While "to retard," as per the dictionary, does mean to debase something or to diminish the capacity of, it is really, really in poor taste to call someone "retarded" in public when you don't know who may be offended on behalf of their own mentally- or physically-challenged relative or friend. Please don't tell me you're also the same type of guy who calls his other straight guy friends "f*gs" in front of gay people!
This is just some fatherly advice before you wind up offending someone in public.
Or end up getting punched in the face.
Who uses the word "retarded" other than ignorant teenagers?
Looks like this thread has completely gotten off track, but I actually have a serious question related to the subject.
I have an interview with 5 (yes, 5!) people tomorrow. Not at the same time - one after another. For 1 position. Do I send a thank you email to all of them?
sweet - Just send a group thank you email (good luck, I LOATHE panel interviews, but one after the other sounds worse, if possible)
on a side note -
This thread just serves to show us that some posters NEVER change (or learn apparently).
