Things will and have work out just fine for us, don't you worry about that. You on the other hand have a long oh so long fall to the bottom.
Not going to happen. I've been at the bottom, and took steps to make sure I won't be there again.

Counting? Easy, I'm quick and CD makes it easy. Caring? More bemused. Also bored as it started out to be an interesting thread over 20 pages ago until every second post was a repetitive chant from you. Issue? Who apart from you mentioned an issue?

Congratulations, you topped off yesterday with 74 posts spanning a little over 12 hours. Wow!

GPA doesn't count?

Then how come when I am working for a client and they are asking us to send them resumes of new graduates, the first thing that they ask for is their GPA and the second is for a copy of their transcripts?

GPA may not count for someone with 5 or more years of experience, but it definitely counts for the new graduates.

you folks on this thread who thinks she's in the right are NUTS.

I'm starting grad school in about three weeks. I have a clear goal of what I want to do when I leave there and I pretty much chose this program based on the fact that this program works alongside the place where I want to work. Of course I will use all of the interning/networking/etc. opportunities that I can gather, but in the long run, it's me, going in there and interviewing and showing the employer that I really really want to spend my career there. I can't go back and blame the professors that I didn't utilize their resources enough or didn't manage to impress the employer.

But, then again, according to some of you, I guess I can.

sadly there are many that have had that same line of thought and did in fact fall. Some not because of their own actions but actions of others.

You have no idea about me, so don't be so arrogant and sure of yourself.

just as you have no idea about me.
But I was not being arrogant. There are many people who have felt the same way you do only to lose it all or close to it. Whether by their own doing or another's. You can not argue that point, you can not argue the facts.

And it seems that nobody can argue with your holier-than-thou stance without heads rolling.

Angela,

Like I said, my life is set up with adequate insurance, and diversified investments that are enough to live frugally on for the rest of my life, even if I were to lose some of them do to the torts of another. I'm not stupid, nor am I naive.

Fortunately I'm also not bitter and I don't carry a giant chip on my shoulder.

no one can argue the point I made, it is in fact true.
And no, I don't have a holier than thou stance, I have a real stance of the
truth.
