I think we only "talk" about "work & employment" here - not seek it?

You may want to post your resume on like Craigslist, Monster, Careerbuilder or one of those other ones??

Just put:

Microsoft Office, PL-1, PC Miler

And take the word "Mosaic" out, it's ripped from the pages of nauseating corporate speak.

You should put the barrage of keywords at the bottom in white so that us humans won't see it. Otherwise a hiring manager will say "OK, you're either a bot or a spammer, bu-bye".

I think there should be a separate forum for people seeking employment to post resumes. This one primarily is just discussion of employment-related issues. If this is permitted, we may be overrun by resumes and it'll be too much of a pain to sift through them to find the actual discussion threads.

Ok, so no more resumes here, please

Thanks to all, who responded and particularly to AnneRK and JS1.

On recommendation remove Word.. and put just Microsoft Office, I afraid reaction from HR people would be:"Not this guy, he does not know Word..."

I have got call from girl from employment/temp agency in NJ, her question was whether I did(know) dispatch...
Would not you think Logistics Coordinator means "dispatch"? I have sent them my resume for a position, pretty close to what I did/know how to do, it is not only dispatch. But there was no word "dispatch" in my resume, so no go...

Now I have this:

"[SIZE=2]To those in HR Dept, who have no background in Transportation, Trucking, Distribution, Logistics, International Trade or who is not familiar with mentioned abbreviations or procedures, please, forward my resume to those, who have such experience. This resume covers about 95% of positions in the industry. The only positions it does not cover are technical ones: mechanic, driver, IT Dept worker. "

Probably worded too straight... I have good reaction from Pros on my resume, but not from HR folks...

I think under skills and qualifications you should put in a summary section on the top. Then maybe list specific skills in that section. Also I don't think you should put you are a white male. I've never seen anyone put their race explicitly on their resume.

Well, I wish you luck, since the Trucking/Transportation industry is pretty dead right now.

I've worked in trucking for the last 15 years, and this last place I worked at, was the very last trucking company I'll work at ever again. No more of that BS for me!
