Do employment agencies mainly look for administrative jobs? Or are they also filling more specialized professional jobs? Pro's? Con's?

Agencies aren't limited only to admin jobs, they usually have a variety of jobs they are filling. Some specialize in certain areas however it just depends. In my town agencies are basically just salesmen and most of the jobs they have are temp. I have not had any luck with any agency in my town but when I lived in Chicago 4 of 5 jobs I had were through an agency and not one was a temp job.
