No derogatory credit issues???

Half of the known world is teetering on the brink of insolvency, but you dear job candidate, had better have a pristine credit report if you want to cut grass for this company.

Madness.
Hate to say it, but landscaping tools and machinery are hot commidities at flea markets, on eBay, and Craigslist. A prospective employer may look at an applicant's debt situation as a potential loss issue.

Or they could be looking at people to landscape million dollar homes and are using any available information they can to try and screen people.

Most landscaping gigs pay min wage if that, as most hire illegals to do the work. A landscaping gig paying $17/hr most likely is either a job working on a military base or in some really high end areas.

Very true. When we put a job on CraigsList we identify our company. If we want to advertise blindly, we don't use CraigsList.
