What’s the verdict on dog / cat foods containing corn and other Chametz during Pesach? I’ve read pros and cons for each side.

Kitniyos ok for your pets during Pesach. Chametz is forbidden. We keep our dogs in Pesachdik dog food year round.

No Chometz in one's home is no Chometz in pet food either.

Corn is not chometz. And you don't get verdicts here, you get opinions or observations. Verdicts come from the LORD (Local Orthodox Rabbi Dude).

My dog is Ashkenazi and didn't want kitniyot in his food so we went totally grain/filler free. He eats free range chicken and filet mignon all year round. For sides, he prefers sauteed mushrooms, asparagus and sweet potatoes.

Ah, so you don't mind the smelly drek (feces) due to the asparagus.
